Our Approach
There is something that happens when the sun goes down and the moon rises. The world does not go dark, it is illuminated differently. Shadows become landmarks. Stars become map to our home. What felt uncertain in the noise of the day becomes clear in the quiet of the night.
That is the spirit behind this work. Indigenous knowledge has always been a guiding light — a way of seeing, relating, and moving through the world with intention. Moonlit Horizons exists to bring that light into spaces that have long needed it, and to walk alongside the communities and organizations ready to be guided by it.
Mission
To bridge Nations and organizations, empower Indigenous youth, and bring Indigenous identity and culture into the spaces that have excluded them, through consulting, programming, and relationship.
Vision
We envision a world where Indigenous Peoples hold real power in the decisions that affect them. Where young Indigenous people see themselves reflected in the rooms they walk into. Where organizations do not just acknowledge Indigenous peoples — they build with them, learn from them, and share the table in ways that are lasting and true.
